About

Hi! My name is Allie Miller and I am a mixed media artist living outside Montpelier, Vermont. I received a Bachelor of Arts with a double major of Anthropology and Studio Art at Wheaton College, MA in 2018. These days, I am focusing on the healing properties of art making and spending my days off skiing and breathing in the mountains around me.
Although, I spent most of my time making a painty mess in my studio; I have a background in watercolor, a love for metalwork, a fear of knitting too much, and a side hustle of wood burning.
While people often say that we write what we know, I believe we draw what we want to know. My fascination is nature, it is light and movement, fog and clarity, and the human conditions of emotion. I dwell in the category of a landscape artist, speaking about the unapologetic imperfections of nature.
