About

Hi! My name is Allie Miller and I am a mixed media artist living outside Montpelier, Vermont.
I received a Bachelor of Arts with a double major of Anthropology and Studio Art at Wheaton College, MA in 2018.
These days, I am focusing on the healing properties of art making and spending my days off breathing in the mountains around me.
Although, I spend most of my time making a painty mess in my studio; I have a love for metalwork, a fear of knitting too much, and a side hustle of wood burning. Lately my interests have grown to include candle making and embroidery. Now if I could only alchemize more hours into the day…
While people often say that we write what we know, I believe we craft what we want to know. My fascination is nature; it is light and movement, fog and clarity, and the human conditions of emotion.
